Kelly Hoefler is a dedicated and compassionate leader, currently serving as Board Secretary and the Executive Director of the Big Z Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that she co-founded alongside her husband, Mike, in 2018. Their philanthropic journey began as a response to the heartbreaking loss of their son, Zach, who succumbed to a devastating brain tumor at the age of 19. In the face of this profound tragedy, Kelly and Mike channeled their grief into the creation of the Big Z Foundation, a beacon of hope and support for families grappling with the emotional, physical, and financial challenges of catastrophic childhood illness.
As the driving force behind the Big Z Foundation, Kelly leads with unwavering determination, dedicating herself to the organization's mission. Under her guidance, the foundation has experienced significant growth, both in reach and impact, thanks to strategic planning and innovative program development.
In her current roles, Kelly successfully secures funding and manages financial resources to support various philanthropic initiatives, ensuring the foundation's ability to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those it serves.
