My name is Gisella Kaendler. I’m Peruvian and I’ve been living in the United States since 2001.  As a child in Peru, I was surrounded by the colorful and exotic plants and flowers of the Andes Mountains and the Amazon jungle. When I moved to the United States in my late twenties, I experienced a bit of culture shock. Though I had visited many times as a child, I wasn’t quite ready for the fast-paced life in America. I noticed that Americans in general missed out on the peace and serenity offered by nature. For some, it was due to their demanding jobs and their busy schedules. For others, they just didn’t know what they were missing. I nearly forgot what I was missing as well. It wasn’t until I was going through some old photos that I realized how much I missed my little plants. I found my new business and I named it Plant and Sip!

My business consists of live plants which I have to make sure are always beautiful and ready for each event. During our public events, we lead our guests through designing, planting, and decorating their own live terrariums. This isn’t your average workshop, however. It’s a party! Public events are held at restaurants or bars where you can eat and drink with friends throughout the event.  

We also host private events such as office parties, corporate conventions, and team building and wellness events. We also host FUNDRAISERS!

Going back to my personal life, I'm the grandma of the cutest boy on earth.  His name is Lorenzo and he just turned 1 year old.  I love pretty much anything that gets me out of the house. Going on adventure trips is my jam. I enjoy a hiking day in the mountains as much as a visit to a museum. I have a passion for tennis and play at least three times per week. I’m a dog lover and currently, I’m a mom for a very cuddly 7-year-old white Schnauzer named Rocco and a feisty 5-year-old black Havamalt named Jack.  Looking forward to connecting with y'all!
