At Tutor Doctor of Frisco and McKinney, we understand the needs of our students, and we are dedicated to providing the best tutors to our community.
We are fortunate to live in the best school districts in Texas, with top-notch education for our children. However, the competitive nature of our schools and the rigor of our curriculum bring the need for academic support outside of the classroom for both students struggling to keep up and those competing to stay at the top.
At Tutor Doctor of Frisco and McKinney, we understand the needs of our students, and we are dedicated to providing the best tutors to our community. We offer 1X1 tutoring services in your home or online for ages Pre-Kindergarten through Adult learning. We help students with all subjects (math, science, language arts, foreign languages, SAT/ACT/ISEE test preparation).
Our offices are right here in the community. Our staff serves Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, Little Elm, Aubrey, Denton, Plano, and Allen. Sandy Tutwiler is the proud owner of Tutor Doctor of Frisco & McKinney. Driven by her love for children, Sandy is passionate about helping them excel academically, physically, and emotionally.
As a dedicated servant leader, she actively participates in her community, being a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce and an Ambassador for the Frisco and Little Elm Chambers of Commerce. Sandy also serves on the Advisory Board of Refresh North Texas, an organization committed to providing basic personal hygiene items to every child in the community. Additionally, she is a leadership board member of Stonebridge United Methodist Church.
Sandy loves to give back to her community through Tutor Doctor by sponsoring and donating to organizations helping children and families such as Little Hearts of Hope, Frisco Fastpacks, and St. Arbor Community Garden. Sandy earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in Latin American Studies from the University of Denver. She retired from a successful 25-year career at, where she led teams through major projects and strategic initiatives. Sandy is married to her best friend, Travis. In their spare time, they enjoy playing with their grandnephews, Camden and Robin, spending time with their dogs, listening to live music, and cheering on local sports teams.
